One of my former students/current friend is attempting to break a world record. Katie Spotz will attempt to row the Atlantic Ocean from South America to Africa in 2009. She'll be raising money for charity. Katie has already done some amazing things; rode a bicycle across America to raise money for charity and run 100K race in Australia.
