Quote for the Day!

During my travel's I stopped into a gift shop in Chicago. I picked up a bookmark for Kelly with a great inspirational quote on it. I thought I would share it with all of you.

"As you go on in this world, always believe in your dreams. Keep looking forward to the future.....to all you might be. Don't let old mistakes or misfortunes hold you down. Learn something new every day. Be interested in others and what they might teach you. Believe in  yourself. So long as you are true to the strength within  your own heart...you can never go wrong." - Ashley Rice

Reggie Miller

My Reggie Miller count is up to 92. Recent "I'm not him" areas have been on the Chicago subway, at the Phoenix airport, on a shuttle bus, at the top of the Sears Tower and while getting my teeth cleaned last week at the dentist. I looked up Reggie Miller's agent, but you have to book him to get in contact with him. I'm still working on meeting him and getting a photo. So, until then, the count continues. And soon I'll be selling "I'm not him t-shirts" maybe I should do some "I'm not her" shirts too for all the people who get mixed up.

Blogging from the Airport

I'm in the Phoenix airport getting ready for a trip to Philadelphia. I'll be speaking at Albright College on Monday, September 22nd at 7PM.

I'm cleaning up some files and downloading some pictures from my camera. I haven't posted any pictures for a while, so I thought I'd put up a few pictures from my recent camera cleaning.

Speaking update, I'll be at Franklin College in Indiana on Tuesday, October 7th.

Park University in Missouri
Trine University in Angola, Indiana. College's normally arrange for Rodger and I to stay at a local hotel when we come to speak. Trine has their very own cottage for performers to stay in. Check out the pictures below. Very nice!

Showtime (twice) over 500 freshman to educate!

What have you been up too?

Hello Everyone,

Sorry about the lack of blogging. Ive been taking some time to myself and relaxing after a long and busy August. When you're gone for almost a month, there is a lot of catching up to do with life and business. The blogs will be up and going soon. My vacation time is over.

The one exciting thing I have done during my "time off" was volunteering with Kelly and her fellow school teachers at a local Women's Shelter this weekend. It always feels good to give back to the community, but even better when it's a good cause.

The center helps/assists woman who have experienced or are experiencing domestic violence. Volunteers come in at different times of the year to assist with the up keep of the Shelter. Our group yesterday helped with moving furniture, cleaning flower beds and painting walls and ceilings. Due to my height, I was immediately given the duty of painting/priming the ceilings.

I was covered with paint by the end of the morning, but it felt really good when several of the women at the shelter stopped by to thank all of us for taking a little bit of time out of our day to lend a helping hand.

Next time you have the chance to help someone or volunteer locally, please do so! =0 )

Happy Birthday to the following September people:

Thank you!

I wanted to type and thank everyone who called, text, e-mailed and facebooked me to say "Happy Birthday!"

I spent most of my b'day in airports making my way home. When I got home I had a Great time. That's because of a wonderful person named Kelly (my girlfriend). She showed up to the airport looking "Very Good." She took me out to dinner at a local Mexican restaurant. The food was good but the company was better.

I've definitely missed my "quality time" with Kelly. Three weeks on the road was fun, but it was time to come home.

After dinner I returned home to find several b'day gifts from Kelly. They all had a special or personal touch/meaning to them. The shorts story is, she made me feel special.

Everyone who contacted me, made me feel special too. Thank you Kelly! Thank you Everyone!
